Through out the pandemic I used art to explore my sexuality, gender and connection to culture.
The art I made in 2021 was the art I wanted to see when I was teenager in high school
These drawings are part of the body of work I completed in 2021 (Check ‘Fruits Basket’ for the rest), most of it got the chance to be exhibited, and the rest were more personal pieces. This general body of work incorporates the Koori art styles from my culture. Half of the pieces in the body of work draw huge inspiration from Keith Haring’s signature New York sub graffiti art style
